WE’VE GOT A NEW BOOKING SYSTEM
FIND OUT WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON
We’ve updated our software and booking system!
We know you’ve got a lot of choices in where you get your hair done. In fact, people chose based value, reputation, and the ability to provide a high-end experience (in that order, can you believe it?) are the top things clients seek when choosing a new salon or barbershop.
When it comes to choosing YOUR new stylist, we know that availability, personal recommendations, and stylist’s online portfolios are some of the biggest reasons our clients click with us.
Online self-booking, when it works well, is important not just for prospective guests to check us out for the first time, but also for our regulars to keep seeing us for a long time.
Check-in and out with ease
Our new system features self-check-in stations where you can verify that all of your personal info and appointment information is up-to-date. Some people love the greeting and chit chat with the front desk, but some people just aren’t into that (ahem, that’s why we brought the Quiet Chair concept to Mpls) and we totally get that!
Keeping things as transparent as possible doesn’t just stop at the stylist’s product recomendations during your appointments, either! At checkout, the same check-in tablets help guide you through the checkout process and allow you to view your service details and add your own custom tip right on the screen (for many of us, relieving the awkward moment where we need to guess what the right percentage to tip is, and then admitting we can’t actually do the math in our heads).
…and yes, we even accept mobile pay options!
So, why did we change our booking software?
Obviously, we changed our system with YOU in mind
When you choose a new salon, knowing the pricing is at the top of the check list (among other things)
According to industry studies, pricing is the most critical factor when picking a new hair salon or barbershop, with 40 percent of consumers citing price point as their top consideration. That’s more than TWICE as much of a factor than anything else they consider!
Listening is important, so we wanted to make sure that people can see what the pricing for each service is. Consistency is key, so being able to check on your own personal file and see your records is also a huge plus for our guests.
Finding the best availability
When looking for your new barber or stylist, we know that availability is very important. Seriously, 33% of respondents in a recent industry survey said that availability alone was their most important factor.
For this reason we wanted to keep the ability for people seeking services to easily identify what stylists or appointments worked best for their schedules. Our online booking system is completely integrated to our front desk, and offers the most up to date availability possible.
Online booking helps you get in the first time, and helps you keep on top of your appointments
While we’re not shying away from our desk making appointments via phone or email, we wanted to make sure people had control over what they book, when they book, and with which stylist.
After booking is confirmed, clients are able to opt in to receive SMS messages about their appointment, and even communicate directly with our front desk via text (which is a total game-changer, right?)
We chose this system because it offers the first and only client experience platform purpose-built for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We aim to deliver personable, enjoyable experiences to our guests all the way through online appointment scheduling, messaging, and payments in ways that are simple, reliable, and as accessibly as we can.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
It is with great respect and humility that we acknowledge that we gather and create on the traditional land of the Dakota people and the many other tribes that have stewarded it for generations. This beautiful and often complicated city has been the ancestral home to the Dakota people, as well as a home to the Ojibwe (Anishinaabeg), Ho-Chunk, Cheyenne, Oto, Iowa, Sauk and Meskwaki people over generations. The continual strategic disenfranchisement of the colonial settlers on the native peoples of this land have diminished but not deterred the capacity for acknowledgement of the many gifts, strengths, voices, and achievements of the indigenous people that have come before, as well as those that remain in our communities.
