STYLIST
ERICA
Erica has spent most of her life discovering herself artistically. Growing up in a household full of artists, musicians, and crafters, she spent most of her time learning various instruments, sewing, and how to craft her way through a wide array of projects. Having those resources, she learned that working with her hands is what she does best. She is a self-taught jeweler whose skills soared when she started working at a bead shop with like-minded artists, finding her niche working with organic materials, and developing an eye for out-of-the-box, avant-garde pieces. As she fostered her developing skills, she sought a way to take them a step further and bring her art to a more functional media: hair.
While residing at Fox Den over the years, she has honed in on her skills with organic shapes and color designs. Not only does she love learning new techniques, but she is passionate about sharing her knowledge with new stylists! You will rarely catch Erica on her own as she has taken up mentoring Associates and Assistants, and is currently working with two new talented stylists.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
It is with great respect and humility that we acknowledge that we gather and create on the traditional land of the Dakota people and the many other tribes that have stewarded it for generations. This beautiful and often complicated city has been the ancestral home to the Dakota people, as well as a home to the Ojibwe (Anishinaabeg), Ho-Chunk, Cheyenne, Oto, Iowa, Sauk and Meskwaki people over generations. The continual strategic disenfranchisement of the colonial settlers on the native peoples of this land have diminished but not deterred the capacity for acknowledgement of the many gifts, strengths, voices, and achievements of the indigenous people that have come before, as well as those that remain in our communities.
