at Fox Den Salon
At Fox Den Salon employs stylists who work on commission, and as such, we have to ensure that we are securing payments for services as much as possible. In order to do this, we ask that all clients provide a minimal guarantee of their intentions to keep their appointments.
If a client is booking a service at a rate of $35 or higher, they MUST have a card on file with our booking software Vagaro.
This card CAN and WILL be charged 50% of the service cost if any of the following occur:
- • The client no-shows the appointment
- • The client cancels their appointment less than 24 hours before the start time (or after a confirmation message has been left)
- • The client re-schedules their appointment less than 24 hours before the original start time (or after a confirmation message has been left)
All clients may be allowed ONE exemption from this policy in the case of an emergency at the stylists’ discretion, in which case the card on file will not be charged 50%, but instead transferred to a future appointment. Any instance after this ONE exemption has been used will result in the card on file being charged, regardless of the circumstances surrounding cancellation.
In the event that a client would prefer not to save their card information on file, they can instead put down a deposit of 50% of the service total in advance of their appointment. This deposit is considered non-refundable by default, but may be transferred/refunded at a stylist’s discretion if ample advance notice is given.
The same ONE TIME exemption applies to transfers of deposits requested less than 24 hours prior to the original appointment date/time.
