Using a model similar to the “farm to table” concept, their products live up to their ethics.  Farm-to-shower, if you will!  Working with local Italian farmers and the non-profit group Slow Food Presidia Project , they have not only helped to sustain the biodiversity of the local environment from which their ingredients are cultivated, but have even helped prevent some heirloom plants and vegetables from extinction! And for a personal touch, each and every label of their essential hair care line gives the name and the story of the person by whom it was grown.

As if helping to sustain their local environmental sources wasn’t enough, Davines has set to completely neutralize their carbon footprint since 2006. Through multiple projects, including reforestation efforts in partnership with Ethio Trees, they have effectively offset their carbon emissions. Beyond that, all of their packaging uses the minimum amount of food-safe plastic to protect the products within and can be reused in a multitude of ways! The packaging is designed considering the goal of abandoning the use of virgin materials coming from fossil fuels to ensure recycling at the end of life. They also use as much mono packaging as possible to make separation and recycling as painless as possible.
