Getting to Fox Den Salon: Lake Street should be easy, with plenty of bike and scooter racks (go green, but no riding on the sidewalk!), many major bus stops nearby, metered and free street parking, a pay lot connected in back (and covered parking a block away at Calhoun Square and under Walkway Apartments!) and a ton of great walkable options nearby for food, coffee and entertainment before or after your service!
We know, you’re probably thinking, “but I love Hennepin! That’s my spot! Why are you doing this?”
Well! In the salon industry there are so many options for stylists, and many stylists like to work independently, carry their own products, and march to the beat of their own branded drums. After 13 years of offering almost exclusively commission based roles at our salon, we realized that by not supporting EVERY type of stylist in our industry, we were turning our back on some amazing talent and limiting our communities’ choices, and that’s just not cool.

Fox Den Salon Hennepin is moving hair stylists to Fox Den Salon Lake Street in uptown!
We are excited to announce our new initiative to help support independent stylists in the Twin Cities and bring our staff together to keep lifting one another and making great hair for our communities and clients!
This February our styling staff at Fox Den Salon: Hennepin are moving to our HUGE and updated salon at Fox Den Salon: Lake Street (that opened this July after the sudden decision from the property owner of our original Lyndale location to end our lease) to join our full Fox Den Salon styling community back together under one epic roof!
If you have appointments at Hennepin, DON’T WORRY! With our Fox Den Salon: Hennepin moving, your existing appointments will be moved to the new location for you, no need to do any leg work!
If you haven’t heard from your stylist yet, they’re on it! Making this transition as easy as possible is important for ALL of us!

With Fox Den Salon: Hennepin staff moving to Lake Street, we’ll be updating our space at 2727 Hennepin and will have floor station spots, semi private booth rental, and mutli-chair room rental available for you and your independent business beginning March 1st for short and long-term rentals!
